Can only had bad games when he was played as a right back or when he was a CB with someone like Markovic as a wing back and Gerrard in front of him.

He'll need protection but he can do it, Clyne is better defensively than anyone we played at right back last season and we have both Henderson and Milner now who will help out doing defensive work too.

I do think Lovren will look better than he did last season for the same reasons, at Southampton he was used to having more protection than Moreno and Gerrard gave him.

Not seen one link to Reus, not even in the Metro. Lacazette is the only remotely possible name from that list. Think Pedro seems the most likely atm, which would see either Young or Mata drop to the bench (assuming Depay is a starter from day 1).

But just had the greatest bet, at 2-0 I bet time of third goal 40 minutes or less giving me 7 minutes for arse to score , £10 at 10-1 and arse score in 1 minute lol

Need Lyon to score and ozil to score and I'll be quite a bit up
