I can't remember exactly but Jubilee Youth merged into Belmont or it was the other way around. Did you play against or heard of Wadham?
I don't remember Jubilee Youth or Wadham, but then I can barely remember what happened last night, so that probably isn't surprising.

I'd be interested in hearing the story behind this. That's awesome

It was at a tournament the FA used to run at Keele university each summer. They'd invite some foreign sides to compete along with a host of Premiership teams and that particular year (96/97) Malmo was one of them along with Ajax, Juve and a couple of smaller sides. Malmo were in our group.

I have no recollection of him playing (and he was obv no one back then). It wasn't until a few years later that I got back in touch with a lad I used to play with who had the one page program for the game, and that's where we realised who was playing up top. The only lads at that age you were really familiar with were the internationals who had been on TV for the Victory Shield.

I remember the best part of the tournament was that all the games were officiated by Prem refs.

I`ve played against J.A. Riise`s younger brother (lost the state championchip against his team). He had a short stint in belgium and fulham. Currently playing in the top division in Norway. Also a couple of the people i grew up playing with are playing or have played in the top division in Norway.

If 5-a-side counts then darren powell (Former palace CB) played for a team against mine for two or three seasons towards end of his playing career, he was pretty good but got very stressed when a mate of mine (who's 20stone +) marked him out a game lmao.

Again 5-a-side, one week i couldn't make it and Wayne Routledge (while contracted to spurs) turned up to play for opposing team, mid season, no shin pads etc, although did have a team of massive fellas who threatened to batter you if you tackled him. Apparently he was ****e until the last five mins when he rounded the team and scored a couple of times lol.

But best player was someone I went school with who ended my hopes of playing GK scoring from 30 yards in the inter-tutor (School) cup final past me to make it 1-1 (We lost 2-1)

Spoiler:
Fara Williams

She was legitimately better than or at least as good as any boys at my school, although none of them went on to play for England...

That might be Pools best side now (prefer Sturridge up top in this shape). That's Ibe, Markovic, Lallana, Sturridge, Origi, Ings, Allen, and Lucas ready to step in.

Played in a friendly or two vs Gareth McAuley as a pup.

Played on the same team as Chris Turner (plays in SPL, random factoid this guy was also on that same team: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Norman_Parke, additional factoid, he was called "Stormin Norman" even then aged about 11 its not some UFC nick haha) and Jonny Steele (played in MLS).

My mate plays for Barnsley.. he is their GK and number 1 now Ross Turnbull has moved . Got a few mates who are pro UK handegg players aswell .

Played against Rooneys brother too when I was like 14. And lastly and most impressively, used to live next door to Chris Greenacre who when I wasn't getting paid £20 and a lot off jaffa cakes to haphazardly wash his car, spent a lot of time tanning his backside playing red arse lol
(He played for Stoak when they were in championship)

I beat Mark Allen in a frame of snooker getting 25pts when I was 15.

I once made a video inspired by Daniel Negreanu's elimination in the Main Event that had 10k views in 10 hours and made Negreanu say "That was hilarious", but none of my buddies in the Premier League thread cared :-(

Not going to think about this too much because I've had a couple of drinks.

But...

"Never ending trainwreck" is rich from a supporter of a shower of **** like the blunts. Also, you voted UKIP, so I'm going to chalk it up to poor taste rather than you being a victim of circumstance.

Basically, what seems to be happening with those prices is we'll sell at the lower categories which are similar to others in the division, but if we start pushing for promotion they'll involve the other categories.

I'm not delighted with it but definitely not going to let a supporter of what most people would see as a horrible little club claim the moral high ground.
