Not sure about free money, but at first glance I like West Ham over, United under, Spurs under, Everton under the best.

I think we look like decent value too.

In before relegation.

City over.

Even though I have little faith in Firmino and Benteke (like the other signings though) I'll be having some action on Pool > United at market odds, and Pool o67.5 probably. Will also be looking for action on Leicester under and Leicester for the drop

When do the TV companies draft their first set of featured games? I'm sharing a ticket again this season and want to know asap which of our home games are going to be on Sundays or Mondays.

Also the 1X2 comp is all set up and ready to go; just waiting on the fixture dates.

Not much case for lolarse I'm afraid, but still don't see them overtaking chelsea too often.

Hopefully this is correct. Obviously hard to say without transfer window complete. Had to guess l expect City/Arsenal to do much better, United need another year, spuds/plop hoping one of the above (plus Chelsea) choke big and still confident chelsea take it. I guess considering arse excellent play / form from January 2 onwards they only gained 1 point on Chelsea (who basically took the last 3 games off). Expect us to still grind it out if necessary. We might be the best grinders.

Edit: no might about it. GD was +16 Chelsea / Arse +25 in that period. I just think some underestimate value or skill of seeing games out. Points is all that matters.

Edit 2: Guess from mental pov, easier to grind out with room for error (+6/7/8 points ahead). Don't know not a psychologist/doctor/whatever. I don't think there is any lolarse reasons. If you think they will win back them.

Edit 3: If, and it's a big if, plop sign illaramendi, Benteke and Bartra - then we're all playing for second place.

I think we showed some nice improvement in the dark arts department last season. I really hope for 1-2 really good signings and an exciting season with maybe-maybe overtaking chelsea who will hopefully have secondseasonitis

Agree. In fact last two seasons
07-01-2015 , 06:09 PM
plus we have some sick depth in most positions too now, only position we should add a body is CM(DLP) as flamini isn't good enough and arteta seems a 15 games a season player max now. cazorla will be shifted back permanently imo as we have about a zillion attacking midfielders already

Surely it's Chelsea's year to suffer from an injury crisis, Costa aside think they've been pretty free for 2 seasons now.

Also can you bet on the Emirates cup? Trying to convince my dad to go but he'll only be interested with money on the line

Don't think we'll be making any more "big" signings unless some pretty big names become available. The Vidal rumors were so lol.

Flamini is Ozil's best friend apparently, so I understand why we can't just get rid of him, but he played 33 games for us last season which seems unacceptable to repeat if we want to be challenging for the title.

Everyone grossly underplays how insanely good Chelsea ran in close games. Full season of coq and there really isn't much of a gap between the two sides.

The position I'm worried about is striker. Sure, we have Giroud, who I have faith in as our first striker. But then there's just a bunch of third-tier strikers. Welbeck couldn't score 20 Premier League goals a season in his life. Like are you comfortable having Welbeck as your second choice striker? The rest are the same or worse. Of course Sanchez is fantastic, but we need him in the left wing.

I don't think we really need many signings, just health. The "good form" had us with everyone healthy. For the first 1/3 of the season, Ozil/Theo/Giroud/Ramsey/Wilshere/Arteta and others were all out, with us trotting Flamini in DM every game.

There are plenty of goals in the team if Theo is healthy. If they all play 25+ games, Giroud, Theo and Sanchez will all score 15. Add in healthy contributions from Ramsey, Welbeck, Cazorla and co and goals won't be an issue. Just have to stay healthy and win the big games, because that's something Chelsea will do.

Chelsea are the favorites for a reason, but if we keep our best players fit we will give them a good run.

OK, I've had a look at the pinnacle lines quoted and I'm happy to take on the world vs Everton in season-long match bets on the following handicaps.

For example, if you want to back Arsenal then you have to give me a 23pts head start. If you back Villa, I'll give you 13. Even money, max $50 per team except Man Utd (will take on up to $500 vs Utd). Wash if teams finish on level points after handicap. Action is only booked if I quote you to confirm. COME AT ME.
