It was all the United fans itt that made me jump on the Fellaini bandwagon in the first place. I did not like the idea of us buying him one bit. Now ya'll ready to jump ship so soon?

I didn't want him either until it was clear that it was him or no one.

Not a bad week for the kid, told several of you guys over a year ago (when he went on loan to Birmingham) that it was still a bit early to label him a write-off.

Couldn't you find your original post to quote it?

I don't think anyone doubted his talent, but his attitude and application.

You also told us Portsmouth were going to be competitive in League One - what happened there?

Sturridge played pretty well over the two games. Surely at the time he was sold you were posting what a mistake it was. Oh wait..you went to bed every night fapping over his being sold.

Sturridge is a bottom-feeder who's really good but not super-good who can't contribute much to midfield control or defensive pressing, so he's not really a starter for a CL-contender.

The biggest compliment I can say about him that he's a lot like Higuain, but even Higuain got a lot better defensively under Mourinho.

I point you in the direction of the strikers currently starting for Chelsea. None of which have scored in the EPL yet. Sturridge on the other hand. Also bottom feeder is way off and just more tedious fanerio going to be negative about something english yawnnn.

I think he's really good for points-ev, and obv an upgrade on ancient Samuel. He's really improved his level at Liverpool.

He's just not the prototype striker for the CL-contenders

Langer, it's still way too early to say he's come good. As has been noted by mr Hooper, his attitude (and more specifically propensity for getting into major trouble) has been his problem, not his skill level. Hopefully he wants to be a top level professional footballer and the nonsense has stopped. But, there are no victories or defeats to claim at this point and there won't be for a few more years.

There are plenty of CL contenders now and historically with strikers who are more goal on a stick than Sturridge.

Sure he could be tactically more intelligent, he does however drop deep and also he can contribute defensively, he won the ball several times last night in his own half.

Its also not like he has to be the only option. He is fine to play for CL contending EPL side.

Cashy. Butnah never came close to making the impact Sturridge has made in 7 games in however many forgettable seasons it was he wasted time at Arsenal.

what has Bendtner got to do with anything? he has never been seen as a starting player at Arsenal so no point comparing the two players.
