They also went for it on 4th and short earlier this year inside their own 30 versus Atlanta and made it, and ended up kicking a field goal on that drive.

they had one time out

Indy had 1 timeout, so if they stop NE they'd get the ball back with ~25 seconds and 80 yards to go.

What makes BB so sick and awesome...is if this exact same situation were to present itself next week..I'm basically 99.99999% certain BB says "We're going for it"

I hate Bill Belichick and the Pats, but after seeing him having the balls to make that call I like him a hell of a lot more

No, I wouldn't want to play 10 handed pretty much ever.

Possibly ridiculous question: if you are the COLTS do you want them to go for it?

Colts fans definitely don't want them to go for it.

Agreed with this specific decision.

Think this is easily the worst coached team BB has had in NE and he loses points for strategic incoherence for both not letting the Colts score after the first completion on the last drive and for not running third and fourth down as a coherent play sequence. So I sort of dont care that he's getting killed in the media, even if its for the wrong reasons.

That's actually a bit more interesting if you buy the media stories like BB not believing in his defense. I think in that case you like them punting even more if you're the Colts than the Pats fans like going for it because then you can win it, it's in Manning's hands instead of the D and so on.
