- Barkley 101 yards on 11 carries after the first drive of the second half. Ends with 13 carries for 101 in a game the Giants were leading from 5 minutes into the game until 11 minutes to go in the 4th, and then were only down 3 (then tied it again later)

- The Eagles were having WRs play corner in practice because their secondary is depleted. Attacking the secondary was "not in the gameplan" according to OBJ.

They are finally starting to fact check and go against standard tight passive coaching:

I didn't get to see the GB game because I was watching Hill House with my wife, but I tuned in just as GB kicked a FG with 2:35 left to go seven down. I was happy to see that GB only had one time out left - can I assume Fat Mike pissed away at least one earlier so they had to try the onside kick?

The Browns were 3-36-1 with Hue Jackson at coach. Since he got fired they are 2-1.

Pretty much. FM didn't do anything ridiculous per his standards but he was ****ty as usual.

Never was I impressed by him as a coach but in all honesty the Cleveland team this year could have had a much better record even with him if they closed out some of those close games during the first half of the season. They lost a bunch of games this season by less than five points. They almost beat the Saints early on. You can argue some of that was bad coaching and I do remember some conservative crappy play calls in there but this team still ran really bad the first half of the season.

Mayfield is for real. He looks really solid out there. If they get a reasonable coach they could been one of the top teams in the AFC in upcoming years and this is coming from a lifelong Steeler's fan.

Wasn't the Browns' biggest mistake making Mayfield practice w/ the 2nd squad in camp because "Herp, derp, he's not the starting QB and can't take reps away!"?

I get it if you have a 35 year old journeyman as the backup but you drafted him to be the face of the franchise. I remember when the Giants got Eli and he was on the bench while Warner started. But the Giants plan was to give the job over to Eli once it was clear they weren't going to make the playoffs. That logic is understandable. But not this lol.

maybe but Tyrod Taylor needed reps with his new offense as well. Did Mahomes take many 1st teams reps as a rookie?

if you watched Hardknocks there was a scene where Hue Jackson was in a meeting with the other coaches and he was trying to drive home a point to all the other coaches that "this was his team." The cameras kept panning back and forth on Todd Haley and Hue Jackson. I'd imagine there were problems even back then and Hue Jackson probably didn't have much respect from other coaches in the organization and it was just destined to fail unless he came out of the gates super hot. How can you respect a coach with his record after the first two years? Haley coming over as an offensive coordinator from one of the top offenses in the league the year prior and forced to listen to Hue Jackson on how to run an offense.

It's also funny at this point that Cincinnati hired him after he was fired as a special assistant, probably solely to provide them with information on his former team which they were to play twice this season and this past week Cleveland went on to blow them out on their homefield.
