The orthopedic surgeon for the Dodgers and the guy who did Brady's knee work said Cutler should not have finished the game and said he was fortunate that he didn't endure a more serious knee injury.

As it is, the Grade II MCL doesn't require surgery and takes about 3-6 weeks to heal.

Which is much better than if the ACL had popped and cost him major surgery and 6+ months rehab and impacted next year's spin-up, as well as possible long term effects on his career.

Not to mention, he probably won't have health insurance after March if the lockout happens.

Classy. And people wonder why players are indifferent to moronic casual fans.

Big name players people care enough to talk about also get paid tens of millions of dollars.

How did his first half compare to the performances of the other QBs this weekend? Not too shabby really. Blaming him for the fumble TD is, eh, harsh to say the least. What happens to a fumble that bounces off a lineman's helmet is sheer luck - but I'm sure you know that.

As for the second half, and the whole package of his performance - it far outstripped the other three QBs on show. He played well, not his fault the Defense decided to miss tackles for fun.
