Nice to see this thread gaining some steam. Speaking of Dustin Johnson, he would have been a great pick. Something seemed a bit off with all of those pics of him partying, even if they were mostly innocent pics of him on a boat with Paulina or something similar. A little digging under the hood would have found that he was involved in purchasing a gun that was used in a murder about 10 years ago, and had a pretty fishy leave of absence a few years ago due to a so-called injury.
Tiger Woods would have been the Holy Grail of all Holy Grail's. Maybe someone had seen him in Vegas and noticed a girl nearby. There are a bunch of ways to get points here, and a few angles to take.
Of course, gotta love Adrian Peterson smoking weed and being in the news today. That wouldn't gain much points, but sometimes a high stupidity level gets more points, if you sense things are about to snowball on someone.
Every week, almost every day, someone is on the news for doing something bad or stupid. Once a few posters connect on something good, it should open up a bit. There are opportunities to scout every time you watch a game or see an interview, so the next time you see someone who you feel could go off the rails for any reason, list him here, and the more detailed you get about what the news might look like, the better for your reputation as a bad news scout.
Warren Sapp is an interesting one. He filed bankruptcy a few years ago and claimed that he had lost his Super Bowl ring. I can see a situation develop where he does something dumb like wear the ring in public, and open himself up to a bankruptcy fraud charge. I know he was making a big stink about Michael Strahan making the Hall of Fame before he ended up apologizing. That is the type of behavior that often preceeds trouble for the one doing the shouting.
