I’m sure South Africa would like a system where the top two make the final, then they can’t lose in the semi final!

Hopefully India has stopped crying about losing a World Cup on home soil. That’s history. Today is a brand new opportunity for India to lose again at home.

AUSTRALIA 3/208 (20)

Inglis with a T20I best of 48 still doesn’t have an international half century … because he scored a brilliant 110 (50).

2nd highest score v India in India
3rd highest score for Australia v India
6th highest score for Australia

Bishnoi with an impressive hat trick … of missed chances.

Losing an opener in the first over who didn’t face a ball possibly not the best start for India. Jaiswal runs out Gaikwad and Stoinis laughs in his face.

INDIA 2/106 (10)

Looking very good for the home team.

INDIA 8/209 (19.5)

Was looking like a very comfortable chase but both teams conspired to give the crowd their money’s worth with a tense last over.

Memo to selectors: maybe don’t open with Steve Smith. In fact, maybe don’t select him at all. He is one player that absolutely should have been sent home after the World Cup final.

Steve Smith didn't lose them the game. The bowlers did. Should be able to defend 210

We bowled way too many wides and the result was never in doubt until the last over. No doubt a very disappointing bowling performance.

That said, Steve Smith is not in our top 6 batters in this format. We can carry him in ODIs but not in T20Is. His presence hurts our run rate, the best thing he can do is get out quickly rather than take 7 overs to score 50.

India 4/235
Australia 9/191

India win again, easily. We might lose 5-0, it’s just another meaningless white ball series. Hopefully it will be enough to appease the Indian fans that think it was so unfair they didn’t win the World Cup.

Still looking for evidence that Steve Smith should be playing, that he is one of the six best T20 batsmen in Australia. I won’t hold my breath.

Why wasn't Abbott sent home - he has basically been on tour since South Africa. He needs a complete re-boot ahead of the big bash. For those say oh yeah who cares about big bash but he looks like he will be serving up dinner plate looking sized balls to batsmen and will be completely useless for the Australian summer.

Exactly - can't believe Australia agreed to this b/s. Money isn't everything.

India fielded a completely different squad. Hard to see what’s in it for Maxwell and co tho

I do hope, when dismissed, every Aussie batsman says loudly 'Nevermind, I'll just go back inside to admire our World Cup'.

Yay some Test cricket! Nice to see Ajaz Patel back in the team feels like hes hardly played since his 10 for... But is Glen Phillips who is the new top class off spinner in our team who got most of the wickets!

This is crazy, no tv provider in our country is showing these Bangladesh matches.

A search says that rabbitholebd, a you tube channel, is streaming free but I go there and they only have highlights

This sux, Kanes probably going to get a ton too, the only one I will not have watched live. Unless someone has a dodgy link, which I never use, Im stuck dammit

Low just found out one of the other free tv stations have picked this up! Time to install another otherwise unneeded streaming app on the phone...

Williamson 3 hundreds in his last 3 test inns. 4 hundreds in his last 5 test innings

This one has had to be a grind, the pitch is a raging turner

You know what I'm going to take a fleeting interest in the test series this summer - if I can find time I will sit down to watch it but otherwise this is a really weak summer. Pakistan would never show up for a test match series in Aus and then we have WI? WI might provide more competition - I'll be more interested in the BBL.

And for a nation of fast bowlers who are these two bowlers that can only bowl low 130s. That is just asking for trouble in Australia.

Many cricket fans might not recall that the West Indies toured Australia last Summer for a Test series, so why are they touring again one year later?

1st Test, Perth, November 30 - December 04, 2022
2nd Test (D/N), Adelaide, December 08 - 11, 2022

Labuschagne scored 502 runs in those two Tests, 204 and 104* in Perth, 163 and 31 in Adelaide.

Cricket scheduling continues to be a joke. NZ has toured Australia just once since 2015.

First year in the last 23 since arriving in Sydney that I’m not flying to Adelaide for the test match

Combination of it being around Aus Day instead of this weekend, it starting mid week and it being the Windies. Just can’t be ****ed to throw a load of $$ at it at a time I’m getting my head back into business
