yup, totally agree. They should do away with the fines altogether, match fees make up such a small percentage of player's salaries nowadays that it's pointless..

hmm, 11 overs remaining, plus we can claim an extra half hour (or 8 overs) if we can convince the umpires there's a good chance of forcing the result. I think we need another two in the 11 scheduled overs to make a convincing argument for the extension.
