When it comes to analysis i think he's fantastic , particularly on fast bowling .

Although BEEFY delivers some comedy moments, hes living on his rep otherwise.

Scratch that. Pietersen is a better all-rounder. What a bowler.

Just checked the weather forecast again for Tuesday - the chance of precipitation has gone from 60% to 50%. You Aussies are in big trouble.

The Sky team needs refreshing. Nasser is very good and Gower is a decent anchor man. Holding is OK but Beefy and Bumble are limisted analysts. Warne is excellent of course.

My favouriet analyst ATM is Vaughan - more versatile than Boycs and with less ego. Showing why he was the outstanding cricket captain of his generation.

Yeah Vaughan is very good. I always liked Dermot Reeve, but ever since he got dropped by C4 for being stoned when commentating I've not heard him anywhere.

Did anyone hear Atherton and Warne discussing the LBW rule & the umpire having to assume the ball goes "straight" if hitting the batter on the full? Surely the dumbest discussion ever. Neither seems to know what a ball going straight on means.

Yeah I did, ridiculous. Obviously in means it carries on at the same angle not that it suddenly straightens when it hits the turf. You only have to think about it for two secs to work it out.

Nasser and Bumble are the Sky dream team though. Really liked Rob Key the few times he was a studio guest. Hope he gets a more permanent role when he's done playing.

If I ever have to hear Bob Willis's dreary ramblings ever again I'll top myself.

Well after a ridic long Sunday my body eventually said enough was enough, and I collapsed asleep and missed the whole of yesterday's play.

Spent the whole day avoiding the score, and I've just caught up with the highlights on tv.

First of all, declaration fail by Strauss. Again. Why on earth did he bat on instead of declaring and getting on with the necessary job of bowling the Aussies out? Has he not learned from that disastrous tour of the West Indies?

Also, bet they selectors are glad they picked Doherty; it seems KP is indeed susceptible against left arm spinners

Finally, lol Clarke for getting out like that, and then not walking when he's middled it to short leg.

So, basically it's a question of whether we can pick up a couple of wickets and expose the very weak Aussie tail before the rain kills the game.

Over to you, Swanny

C'mon Engalnd, make this count.

Criticism of Srauss is wrong imo, either we would have won without more runs in which case the delayed declaration makes no difference or we needed some more runs and might as well get them when we can score them fastest which is what we did.

increasingly impressed with Finn.

North will never have a better chnace to prove many of us wrong

Broad out of tour

gogogo one time

with broad out and anderson supposedly nipping home soon if i heard that right, do we have any quicks left?

Broad out is a good thing. With only Anderson and Finn as pace options, I can hopefully see Australia getting through a lot of overs unscathed vs Collingwood and Pieterson hopefully touch wood.

Havent watched an over live since Saturday, let us gogogogogogogogogogo

Gutted. I "heart" Stuart Broad. I told the wife that if she wanted a photo of someone that wasn't me or a member of her familty in a frame beside the bed, it would have to be Stuart Broad. She glared at me and went back to reading her book in silence, which can only mean she is considering my proposal.

Broad had been bowling well too.

Think England take the new ball straight away today? Or let Swann have a go at North first?

Little child though, throwing a tantrum every chance he gets, usually at the umpires.
