Hummmm...interesting. Obviously it would only work for white ball cricket, but I think I like it.
What a definitely would like though is the fielding team being able to use their DRS review for backing up (so one short may be signalled potentially). It would mean that if you need one to win then you sure as hell don't back up too early or you don't win unless you hit a boundary.
Also, re Ashwin, clearly it's a huge dick move. What makes it worse for me is what he did a few years ago when Eng played India. Someone bowled and the ball slipped out of his hand, so the ball just rolled along a side pitch. Trott was batting, in his own world as usual, and ran to the ball and hit it for four. I wasn't a fan of that to be honest, and a few Indian players got all irate - especially Ashwin. He called it against the spirit of the game. Seriously, **** him.
