Yes, Cooks ton will be a moment I will not forget, everyone in the Oval was willing him on every ball to get there and the applause just didnt end.

Shame i went to grab a coffee and missed both his and Roots wicket.

I'm still trying to forget my third trip to the Oval. Watched Javed Miandad hit 260 as Pakistan made 700 odd in 2 1/2 days. Match drawn. Snoozefest

Price of India in this test.

It reached a peak of 1000:1 when we lost the 3 wickets.

Now it's down to 12:1.

I've never seen a team come back after being a 1000:1 dog and win a game

That was 500/1 and Rod Marsh allegedly made a few quid.

****ing selectors need to pull their heads in.

Sack Tim Paine he is a useless captain and terrible bat. He isn't our future - bring back Wade or bring in Alex Carey.

The middle order is ****ed - how the **** do you give Marnus Labuschagne a ****ing game when he averages mid 30s in shield and all-around is a terrible player and don't tell me it is because he can bowl a bit because I'm sick of that thought process.

The ****ing marsh brothers need to be dropped - Shaun Marsh is ****ing useless. How the **** does Mitchel bat at 4.
He is a ****ing batting all-rounder or really just an all-rounder and should be batting at 6.

As for Finch and Usman opening the batting well Finch I can understand but Khawaja should be 3 and bring in Renshaw to open when he's fit again.

Paine is only captain because they don't want to damage anyone with any future potential.
He's only a stopgap until Smith returns, who will captain again before a year has passed from his return.

Who the hell would you bring in (aside from Renshaw?). There literally aren't the stocks of the 90s and 00s because so many players are playing for T20 contracts and don't have the discipline to peel off hundreds on the regular.

There are literally no other options and there is no point to bring someone in to get taken to the slaughter.

--------------------------------

Usman Khawaja has been insane this Test btw. Been on the field for 26 out of 28 hours. I think he has to stay opening.

Been a great effort so far and a draw would be a solid result. Would be sick if Paine got out, and Starc went HAM in an attempt to win the Test.

Well, it looked like a classic case of lolStralia but fair play, that was some effort to bat 140 overs.

Props to Khawaja!

Hard to not get a team out over 140 overs so I'll go not rigged this time

Handscomb for one and Callum Ferguson another (if players of the age of Paine and S Marsh are in the team). Also, Ponting has always fancied Doolan and he scored some runs today.

I'm going to disclose something. I have actually a personal vendetta against Marnus and his junior club. So take these comments for what they are. Marnus you are a ****ing idiot - selectors ****ing drop him already he is a ****ing disgrace. How you can get out that way playing for your country is one of the most embarrassing dismissals I have seen.

Not read about it but a pretty lamentable decision if true.

Best games of last WC were Ire v Zim and Sco v Afg.

Best part overall was obviously the pathetic english embarrassing themselves in pretty much every game.

Al Jazeera at it again. Anyone seen it?

Highlighting england players, spot fixing in all 3 tests against Pak in the UAE in 2012.

Purely on gut instinct, I'm sure it can only be one person from that batting line up
