No, but what's the breakdown of his stats between sub-continent cricket and elsewhere?

He's so much better on sub-continent pitches that he averages a full 1 run more in ODIs in Asia than his overall average. The difference is a little more pronounced in Tests but that's more a home/away split and pretty much everyone I've looked at has a markedly better average at home than away in tests.

He's also played significantly more matches away from home.

I can't help but wonder what Kane would average if he played on consistently low slow and good batting wickets like some of the subcontinental players

AB Devilliers is a freak considering he plays half his innings on SA wickets. Interesting he averages like the reverse of Kohli, 45 at home and 55 away in Tests. Played 50 more matches and just realised his average has slipped just under 50

ICC should re-evaluate NZ's ability to hold home games

Lol what that was one of the most entertaining games in t20 history

I'm very much a red ball purist, I don't find formats where there is no balance between bat and ball entertaining

Eden Park has proven to be balanced in the past

Both bowling units should be ashamed of themselves

Nothing to do with the venue, the concept of a slogfest doesn't appeal. 120 balls when a bunch of teams bat down to 8/9 with bowling rules that really hinder the fielding side's ability to do anything is crap, there's basically no downside to going berko

I’d consider that a thoroughly entertaining match, however I don’t necessarily agree with Eden Park being an international venue

I feel you man and agree

There is way more strategy nuance in T20 than I first thought though

However, optimal strategy on any decent wicket will soon be swing for 6s every single ball, it will be sadly predictable and it will kill the game

make them play 2 t20's a day for 5 days consecutively (3 games d5 if necess) - first to 6 wins. No changing your team between games. Let's see how they like that.

strategize that

When did that last happen?

FWIW, Eden Park is the same venue in 2015 World Cup where Australia was rolled for ~130 and NZ only made the runs with 1 wicket in hand so its not exactly the venues fault.

Anyone care to explain why I am seeing Ben Stokes in the England team today? I thought his case was on-going?

Awesome game last night

Mitch Santner stepped up under massive pressure, was great to see

This series should be real close

Lol I was close to giving up but I had a little bit of faith in Santers Little Helper to come through and I had a bit of $$$ on it so had to see to the bitter end

This was a most satisfying win
