India 121-0 after 21, with a weather delay.

India currently 1.28, which still looks big.

Game 5 .. Aus v Bang .. Aus 1.19, but CMM has NO fav, at 1.76

I do wonder about Aus a bit, especially with the contract issues etc.

If I am doing my maths right, if the game isnt played, it will prob mean, Aus will have to beat Eng, to progress to semi's.

Aus are 5.5 to win the tourny .. am thinking about an angle, to lay them .. I dont really fancy them anyway, and even beating Bang, they shouldnt shorten too much.

Looks like a certain no result today in Cardiff. I think this means Eng v Oz will be a straight shoot out to go through (though maybe a no result would be OK for Eng, not sure).

Re Oz - Henriques betting so high up and Wade in the team look like weaknesses. They need their top order to fire, or their bowlers to skittle a team out imo.

Jesus, ignore this horse-****. For some reason I thought that it was Eng v NZ in Cardiff today (I guess I asked Google just past midnight about the game tomorrow ffs). Just as well, I live in Cardiff and it would be 100% a washout today.

Sorry, was locked out of the forum, and couldnt reply earlier.

CMM - Completed Match Market .. basically, will the match take place .. either a full game, or a duckworth/lewis abbreviated game.

For the ICC trophy, which are 50 over games, they can be abbreviated to 20 overs a side minimum.

Todays CMM, traded £18m on Betfair .. with some wild swings. 1.25 No, early in the morning, to 1.2 Yes, late evening, only for the rain to finally have the last say.

There are some v serious players in these mkts .. and social media, is often used, to relay info.

//

There is some rain expected in cardiff, for Eng v NZ, but suspect they will get a game in.

I think it will be a decent toss to win .. but, at 1.55 Eng, will wait a bit.

NZ were poor today .. this is a game, they should definately have got v close to winning.

They won a great toss (Eng went from 1.63 to 1.80), and restricted Eng to 310, which wasnt bad, given the freezing cold/wind.

NZ were well on track, but have a very iffy middle order. I wasnt that impressed by Eng .. but, maybe I am too critical.

//

S.Africa v Pak tomorrow.

I suppose it depends which Pak turns up .. but, 1.33 S.Africa, looks a tad generous, even with rain, probably gonna complicate things, late on.

FWIW I disagree slightly about England - they were impressive imo. They lost the toss, didn't do anything spectacular but still got a decent score, then won by a big margin with the best player of NZ getting a big score. NZ were surely favourites to beat Oz when the rain came - they are decent.

India looked really good last time out. It still looks like Eng,SA,Ind and Oz as the best four - perhaps they stand out even more now.

Yeah, hard to argue with the above.

It was freezing nuts cold, at the ground. Have a tkt for the next 3 games there .. hope the weather improves.

I have a feeling, NZ may still qualify .. they will def beat Bang, and Eng will be small fav to beat Aus.

Been a goodish tourny .. thou no close games.

The liqudity on exchanges is growing .. at a really fast rate .. £85m traded, yesterday, on the match odds.

Yeah, I think NZ have a decent chance. To me, the Aussie batting doesn't look all that strong (mainly with Henriques batting high up and having Wade in there) but if the bowlers fire they are definitely contenders. Starc smashing the stumps of the tail the other day was the best bowling to watch in the tournament for me. If England had him they'd really be the team to beat.

I live in Cardiff, but prefer to watch on TV!

Pak played really well today, with great local support.

Another odd decision to bat first .. but, when they were 40-0, I suppose it looked ok.

India v S.Africa, gonna be an awesome game .. hope I can get a tkt.

A few good games, in a row.

The mkt never really felt Sri Lanka could beat India, and today .. just about everyone thought, NZ had enough .. especially when they had bangladesh 30-4.

I feel a bit sorry for NZ .. but, got to give some credit to bang .. they use what they have, v well.

//

Aus v Eng tomorrow, and rain shouldnt be a major issue. Aus are 1.94, which, is maybe arguable .. but, I suppose, they have to win.

One to watch, and wait for a decent entry.

Just posting for the lol NZ. Amazing recovery from Bang - good on them.

In other news, Rashid Khan (the 18 yo leg spinner who played in the IPL) took 7-18 in a 50 over win against the WI. What a talent he is

Eng seem to either keep improving, or have enough players in form, so, they can usually carry the rest.

Stokes/morgan look in sublime touch .. not sure I would persevere with Roy .. but, maybe its hard, given past efforts.

Eng will prob have to play India or S.Africa in the semi .. Bang will play Pak or Sri lanka.

It looks like being a pretty one-sided final, whoever it is.

I like India tomorrow to beat S.africa, in a game, the bookies cant split.

Hard to have a full go .. expect, there will be lots of twists.

What about that African player for Lazio that was listed as 17 but looked 45?

I must be missing something here, but if Eng are playing the second placed team in the other group then isn't this likely to be Pak or SL?

Eng looking really good obv. They'd be even better with Woakes in place of Ball...shame but what can you do.

Re this winder spinner Rashid - he may look ten years older than Joe Root but he has no cricket at profession level before Oct 2015. I just wish Eng had him.

I'm too much of a lazy fecker to look it up but I think Pak played a batter at 14, which set a record and they some kind of human carbon dating type thing (I've got no idea wtf they did) and the test came back OK so the record stood.

Then there was Waqar, who admitted in the end that he was a couple of years older than claimed.
