Williamson is pretty unbelievable.

Starc feeling his side, good for us if he breaks down, bad for the game I like watching him bowl

Who would be a fast bowler in tests, tough job

GG Kano yet again

This.

McCullum too. Amazing commitment in the field and his 2nd innings is Brisbane was a great "f*ck you".

Yeah McCullum was outstanding in the field today. Actually the quality of the kiwi fielding is a welcome relief from the hopelessness of the Indians last summer

McCullum was great in the field in Brisbane too even after the game was well and truly lost.

He's pretty hard not to like imo

100%

Although I will say I'm not sure he is quite a world class captain... but still probably NZ's best option.

The captain should set the example anyway.

Poor Burns...

Side note: I think the short-leg has been over utilized for the fast bowlers by Smith. Probably would have been better at leg slip or conventional or perhaps short-ish mid wicket...

That was pure joy watching our boys bat through a whole session without losing a wicket

Yah short leg being overated by Smith, he should be bowling himself a little more on this flat as a pancake pitch too

Williamson will make at least 300 in this innings.

250 plus run partnership and we are still 200 behind nice

New ball doing the trick here, an hr of Mccullum would be nice

Today will be remembered so far as:

1. Starc clocking 160.4
2. Taylor scoring a century when I thought that was beyond him.
3. Lyon fast becoming the off-spinning version of Peter Siddle for Australia. There are as good if not better spinning options (primarily O'Keefe) and ones that can catch and bat better (definitely in the case of O'Keefe). His two dropped catches have really prompted me to say this.

Whats this BANG BANG BS?

Who are you, Cactus Jack?

You should reserve BANG BANGS for those rare double strike overs

Nah it is good to see it make a comeback. Definitely needed when Starc is bowling in the 150s.

Extremely happy to be proven wrong. This has to be a record.

Wtf at these pitches though. Test cricket so much better on greentops when it's 250 vs 300 vs 280 etc and a fighting 80 is a massive effort

The fast scoring rates have changed all that.
