Nice even test match so far, setup for a good last day.

One worry I have from the indian side is England have 6 left hand batsmen and our only spinner is a part time left arm orthodox.

Amazing that a country of a billion, mostly cricket mad people, cant find a pool of 8 mega fast pace demons to rotate on the regular every year to dominate opposition batting line ups

Well done Mr Pedestrian swingman Kumar though

I dont give 2 ****s what the result is for a 1 day or 20/20 series, Test cricket is all that really matters

Please dont let it die

Crowds may be down, no one can sit and watch a full match but almost every spots fan in a cricketing country wants to keep up to date with scores results etc

Theres just not an easy way to measure this interest, but I assure its there

Crowds should not be down in England given the small grounds and high indian population. They should be sell outs for every day of the test matches.

I turned on the other days and heard him say "India doesn't have a problem with technoology (DRS), it's how it's used". I have to switch over before I started swearing.

England were looking like favourites there until that gift right on lunch. Hopefully it'll be a competitive afternoon session.

btw what is it that Root does that riles up the opposition so much?

I really like him as a cricketer. Would probably make a great replacement for Cook at this point.

lol @ not playing a full time spinner. 5th day pitch, turning square and we're relying on our "quicks".

Please MSD step down from test captaincy.

Half the indian commentators are directly employed by the BCCI, you will never see them speak out against their policy regardless of how they may feel.

I don't even remember exactly what india's issue with the DRS is, I think it has got something to do with Sachin Tendulkar being given out wrongly once vs. SL years ago.

Also, that shot from Prior could be the one that gets Buttler his test debut now.
