Aussies 212 all out in the 3rd one-dayer. They really are looking spineless at the moment.

Odds on whitewash?

Well that was more exciting than it should have been.

It doesn't matter, but why do they always put the fielders on the boundary in these situations. Just terrible, christ.

Aussies win the last 2 ODI's in a canter.Just had to knock off some of the rust.Twenty-Twenty cricket is getting old hat allready, has no soul,no depth and no strategy, it's the RUSH poker of the cricket world.Hope Tait plays in the ashes over here, and lets hope the decks have a bit of pace in them. The test series in W.I was a fraud.Since when do the W.I prepare a deck that turns from day 1?(first test). Then the 2nd test was played on the flattest pitch I have ever seen.I thought for a second that both teams had decided to play the series in the sub-continent.Would love to see the W.I unearth just one bowler of the ilk of Marshall,Walsh,Garner,Croft,Holding,Walsh and the likes.Just one more decent quick,is that too much to ask?Oh and S.Benn is just an angry man,he needs to give himself an upper-cut.

The 2 T20's between Pakistan and Australia have been really interesting from a neutrals viewpoint. The Akhtar v M.Clarke moment earl;y in the Aus innings of the 2nd game was all what cricket is about.

Now have to **Look forward** To playing Bangladesh in a couple of ODI's seriously why bother. Could probably assemble a team from right here on the forums to beat the Banglas.

Australia not playing their strongest side, but great to see them struggle

all we have to lose vs Bangladesh is embarrassment, doubt i'll watch.

Also, please god ban those ****ing horns, never hated them as much but the vuvuzelas have thrown me over the edge

Those crazy Vuva's just prove a point.Soccer is not interesting enougth to hold the spectators attention. They need other distractions like horns, fires and beating up on other spectators. They need to change the offside rule and start sending off the divers to make the game more watchable.

In a sport where most spectators spend the day drinking, making beer snakes, yelling at girls to take their tops off, and occasinally watching cricket (at least, its what I do...) this is lol...

Nearly in for some epic LOL England, 10 needed off the last over vs. bangthedesk and 9 down

edit - why is bell batting 11 lol

edit - because he broke his foot while fielding. Trott edges to keeper, lol

M S DHONI just signed a 2 year ~42-45 mil$ endorsment deal.

That's a pretty insane amount of money for a sport like cricket and has to be up there with money earned by top sportsmen in any sport.

Would this make him one of the top 50 earners in sports globablly??

Hey guys I'm an Irish guy with a slight interest in cricket and having lived in Australia for a year just bumming around mostly I have a basic understanding of the game except for some of the more obscure rules.

One thing I've never understood however is in Test cricket when a captain decides to declare at a certain point and allow to other team to chase a total that he deems defendable.I just don't understand why he doesn't just keep batting until everyone is out thus making as high a score as possible for the opposition to chase.I'm sure there's a perfectly good reason for this but I can't figure it out and it popped up in my mind last night watching highlights of Aus v Pak when the commentators mentioned it.
