Looks like England are going to get off the hook here. But who cares, it's one day cricket.

Whenever we have rain delays and the like in Australia on our foxtel coverage, we usually get World Series classic matches from over the last 30 years or so as filler. The more I watch though, the more I realise how much I love some of our old ODI uniforms over our current ones, in particular the horrible green we play in at home instead of the yellow we used to (FU Commonwealth Bank for wanting that changed so your logo stood out more).

Anyway, I thought a cool tangent to go down would be which sets of ODI and 20/20 uniforms we owned/thought were awesome.

Anyway, imo Australia's GOAT uniform

This one was also pretty cool.

Also, the 99 WC one was pretty awesome too...

The last yellow one we had in Australia before we went to the green was pretty good as well...

Any other great and not so great one's out there... I think this one has to be the WOAT...

Spoiler:

Over to you guys I guess...

The ICL was big on terrible looking kits.

And at least one IPL team is carrying on the tradition.

It was in like The Times or The Mail and from some tour England were on in the mid-late 90's - I think maybe South Africa (maybe India) - it was from a warm up match on some barren, rural ground, with Mike Atherton leaning on his bat and a lone cow grazing in the background. It was black and white (as most pictures from newspapers were in the old days ), and was very, very cool imho. I wish I could find it online.
The iconic cricketing photo imo

i see all the indians are returning home in preparation for the champions leauge! in all honesty this tour reminds me of the 02/03 ashes tour to australia. england players just kept on coming and then going, continually getting injured in some way or another.

good article.

That Ashes tour I think you guys used something like 18 cricketers and 7 or 8 quicks IIRC... (Caddick, Silverwood, Hoggard, Simon Jones, Tudor, a few others)

That said, Hayden and Langer were amazing that season.

*searching cricinfo*

17 players used by England over a 5 test series, we in comparison used 14.

Bowlers included

Giles, Jones, Caddick, White, Harmison, Hoggard, Tudor, Dawson, Silverwood, Butcher

Always liked this photo of Derek Underwood appealing for lbw for the last Australian wicket at the Oval test match in 1968. All 10 fielders in view

Scary how much of a better ODI player Dhoni is than a test player.

Marsh 87no at first drop on debut, Khawaja is going to be a gun, and Shane Warne replacement no. 15 looks pretty good too.

Gotta give some credit to Clarke, doing a pretty decent job as captain atm.

Ashes 2013 isn't looking so bad anymore

We are playing like total **** too. Must give credit though, the Aussie bowling has been solid and disciplined. Hardly any free runs in both matches. This is what I expected from our bowling but the batting is a huge disappointment

Shaun Marsh's sister/step-mom is smoking. Going to bed, hopefully we've taken 2-3 wickets in the day. Looks like 600-5 type score is on the cards.
