The aim is to
draft a test XI.
Eligible players: anyone who played a test after 1969.
However, you only get the post-1969 portion of a player's career.
To use Ashley's example - if the cut-off date had been 1945 you would only get his preformance on the 1948 tour of England if you chose Bradman with a pick.
Undrafteds: no mention of as yet undrafted players itt.
Pick order: standard snake .. ABBAABBAABB ..so in the first round #1 goes first, int the second and third rounds #11 goes first and so on.
Clock: you have
four hours from the previous pick to make a pick (however, see night immediately below). If you are going to be AFK and anticipate the draft may reach you please send a pick (or alternative picks dependent on picks still to be made before yours) in advance to someone after you.
Night: important - everyone please pick
your own 6 (six) hour night period and fill this in on the spreadsheet.
Explanation: We have many different time zones represented so no single down-period makes sense. Instead you have the grace period of your personal six hours (plus the usual four hours for the pick) if you become 'up' during your night time. If people could confirm they understand this, eg, when they make their first pick that would be great.
