He posted that when Peru were 2-0 up in which case we'd have wanted a Peru/Brazil draw so we would face Peru in the QF

While it's lol that h2h is not the first tie breaker, having it GD makes for some fun games like the Brazil one last night. It's so fun watching a team like Brazil tool on some minnows like Haiti which you rarely get to see because they'll just take their foot off the gas up 3-0, 4-0 but when a group could well be decided by who beats Haiti by more it makes for entertaining football for 90 minutes

Hey so Mexicans and Cruizn, I just got an email from the Indy Eleven (my hometown club in NASL) with an excited announcement that Gerardo Torrado, "the second most-capped player in Mexican National Team history with 146 appearances" arrives in Indianapolis today to join the team. What's the story with him playing in a league that is a tier below MLS? Is he 50 years old? Has he had a foot amputated? What am i missing, and on a scale of 1 to 10, how excited should I be about this?

He is 37 yrs Old. He was a beast in 2006 but he shouldve retired ages ago and now is just making a fool of himself. Im guessing he is broke and just taking whatever they are offering him. It was NASL or mexican second tier for him after he got cut from his former club

this group could be wrapped up tonight if this result holds and mejico handle their bidness, with only group winner and runner-up to be determined head-to-head

He's not playing regardless. They care more about WC qualifying and don't want him aggravating his injury.

Is everyone that thought Mexico was a top 3 side in this tourney after beating an overrated Uruguay back to thinking Mexico is maybe the 8-10th best after Uruguay got handled by Venezuela in the first half?

Real weak **** from Uruguay not playing Suarez. They're sitting top of their group and don't have another WCQ until September. wtf

Is anyone else tilted by how these pitches play? Something just seems really weird. Ball moves too fast and takes ridiculous bounces
