There's like 10000 people at Soldier Field. Awful.

Someone said it earlier but they completely overpriced this tournament and some of these games should absolutely not be in big stadiums. I've seen south American friendlies (Peru v. Colombia, Brazil v. Costa Rica) in Red Bull Arena and the atmosphere at both was amazing. I saw Brazil v. Argentina at MetLife (Giants Stadium) which was also amazing but those are two huge clubs.

Philly is like 1:40 from my house and I would totally ride down if I could get a decent seat for the 2 non-US games there, but with tickets in the $50 range for ****ty upper level end seats and knowing you're going to get raped for parking because it's a huge stadium it's going to keep me home.

I get that the stadiums need to be confirmed in advance (do they really though?) but they need to find a way to get these less attractive games in smaller stadiums. This is USA#1 we got plenty of stadiums to accomodate all sorts of different games

Yeah, I mean it's fine if they wanna do bigger stadiums, but the tickets really should start at $15-$20, especially for a random matchup like this. People who have no rooting interest would end up going just to do something.

They must make more money charging $90 for upper level seats and having it ~full for the USA, Mexico, and marquee games than they would for charging $15-20 and having all the games full, which who knows if they'd be full anyway. Tickets are on sale before the groups are announced so it's not like they can make different prices per game, but that's where secondary markets should come in.

Like I'm shocked a lower level seat for Uruguay-Venezuela on a Thursday night in Philly is still >$130

They should have put some of these matches in smaller cities that have moderate sized stadiums that MLS play in. You've get more people and the games would likely sell out.

The problem is the sites are pre-determined before the draw. Nothing some good old fashioned FIFA riggage couldn't fix tho
