There's no result for this match that garners a rematch. Either Conor does the impossible and ko's Floyd early, Floyd tko conor in the late rounds when/if Conor gasses or Floyd tip tap toes to a boring decision. That's the only 3 possible outcomes for this fight & neither will net a rematch.

Also the next Conor fights in the UFC are going to be huge $ if Conor does well in this, he will Want to co-promote with them considering he has his promotion company now or he will retire(as a bluff). Once he does that he probably makes 30-50mill per fight in the ufc, he doesn't need Floyd.

Floyd would've stood to make $250-500mm from a rematch with Pacquiao and it would've been easier to pass off as a legitimate loss to get away with it legally and not harmed his legacy as much and he didn't do that. Why on Earth would he throw this one instead?

Him throwing this fight makes absolutely no sense. If its rigged it will be the ref, judges, and Conor in on it and not Floyd.

my thoughts as well. floyd will be a massive laughingstock and his legacy will be completely shattered if he loses to mcg. i see zero indication that floyd is anything other than a proud fighter who cares more about his undefeated record than anything else on earth. every argument for him throwing this fight applies equally and more to the pacquao fight. someone could say well by beating pacquiao he already proved he was the best of his era but i don't think that is very persuasive. he would turn into the biggest and most embarrassing loser of all time overnight

Has little to do with Tyron Woodley, more to do with the fact Conor already planted the seeds with his "beef" with Woodley during previous face offs throughout the weighings for ufc 205 + the fact Conor would be going after making history of being the first ufc fighter to get 3 titles in 3 different weight classes, that alone makes it a 2million ppv tbh.

I also meant the ufc makes close to 100mill in revenue from Conor's events, his last fight with eddie alvarez at ufc 205 did 17mill gate + 1.3mill ppv@ $60 a pop, conor vs nate diaz 2 did 1.65mill ppv etc. If he does well vs Mayweather his stock goes up & he has all the leverage to co-promote with the ufc, he easily makes 30mill+ his next fight. if he gets embarrassed by Mayweather then it's a different story, so Conor actually alot to lose/win on the 26th of August.

Im a ufc moron and this is the 1st and likely only time i spend money on boxing. Its not because i think Conor will win, its not even that i think he will be competitive. Its because im a Conor slappy and would rather be out $100 watching him get destroyed than save the $100 and miss a miracle upset.

Im under no illusion about the product im likely to get in return for my $100. I would guess the same is true for the majority of the other ufc morons that are tuning in.
