Would the Floyd of 5 years ago beat Conor? Sure. The Floyd of 2 years ago? Probably. But Floyd isn't the fighter he was 5 years ago, hell, he's not even the fighter he was 2 years ago.

All the #stats favor Conor. He's the younger, hungrier lion. He's in his prime, and movie theater showings of this fight are going to have to give priority seating to Geometry students because they're the only one who will be able to fully appreciate the angles he's gonna come at Floyd from.

My understanding was that they couldn't just turn up and wear 8oz gloves after a mutual agreement between the two fight camps

If they go through the correct processes I don't see why it would be a problem

The only way Mayweather loses this fight is if it's rigged so that they can get the " Rematch " payday that always happens in these kind of bull**** fights.

There is little to no chance this fight ends without major controversy. Just way too much ****** money in the world. Gotta have a reason for the rematch.

Save your money for the rematch folks.

Yes there will. These guys are getting 75- to 100 million up front to fight? The real money is in the rematch. There will be a rematch. My guess is that somehow Conner wins a shady 12 round decision and that's how the rematch will be made.
