Connor can't possibly be stupid enough to do something to get dq'd where he'd forfeit 100 million.

Seems likely most of Floyds sparring partners would beat McGregor.

re: Conor McGregor vs. Floyd Mayweather (August 26th)

Not that Floyd would have ever accepted anything except a straight boxing match, but I wish they went with a ruleset that made Floyd KO Conor instead of just dancing around and never even being close to getting hit.

Ideal setup would be a 12 round fight where the first 11 rounds are boxing and the 12th round is MMA.

Wonder if there is an amount of money high enough for Floyd to agree to that.

Probably about the same amount because Floyd can, and will, end this whenever he pleases.

McGregor is saying after he beats Mayweather he is going to fight a black bear. That should be interesting!

I feel like I want to bet the under on this.

The most entertaining part(s) of this fight will be the pressers and those are free to all good homes.

There is. He would play up the danger and drive the price as high as possible then he'd stop Conor in whatever round in the first 11 he feels like stopping him in while counting his money all the way to the bank.

I like your idea tho. Since this is such a circus it seems like there should be more to it than just a straight boxing match. Conor has zero shot in a straight boxing match but cheers to him for being an elite self promoter. He got himself a payday of a lifetime.

If Mayweather loses they can have a rematch for another $100m. Then another rematch. Etc.
