First of all, his entire premise is completely bogus. A fight(in any combat sport) does NOT have to be some exquisite, technical clinic of the highest order between two equally skilled virtuosos just to be considered a good fight. In fact, I would argue that sort of thing often ends up with a "boring" match that only appeals to the aficionados of said sport.
Which goes back to his point...he seems to think the only people who could of found that fight compelling were people who "don't know a thing about boxing". I don't think anyone except maybe the dumbest MMA/Conor fanboys thought that was some amazing techinical boxing match and that Conor held his own for 10rnds through his amazing boxing skills. I think pretty much everyone(with a brain) got exactly what they were expecting and STILL enjoyed the
fight.
Average fans watching simply do not care exactly why or how Conor managed to last 10 rounds....the fact is that he DID last 10 and not only that, he managed to make it interesting in the process...against one of the most boring fighters of all time. THAT is a fight!
