The fight is in Las Vegas and has a ref and judges. You can never rule out riggage. I'd still need something like 50/1 to bet on Conor. Those odds are absurd
61% Conor does something illegal / gets the match stopped / this is how Floyd wins / ring ends up looking like Rucker Park
36% Floyd wins by decision
3% Conor wins by knockout
I heard that there is something in the contract that stipulates Conor forfeits his purse if he does anything illegal/MMA related. Not sure what the conditions are though.
Well if he did anything like that there would possibly be criminal charges and the athletic commission would have his ass. But yeah probably get sued into oblivion too.
I do think he'll tease about doing that in the press conf to drive interest though "Maybe I'll just kick you in your fookin head Floyd"
Let's not forget that once Conor figured he couldn't win that first Diaz fight he essentially gave up, punched himself out, and got KTFO. Ricky Hatton essentially tried to fight Floyd this way and that was the result there as well. Anybody think Conor has a better shot than Hatton did at the time?
If Floyd wants to win by KO he will win by KO. I like Floyd to carry him for 4 or 5 rounds and then finish it whenever he wants to. It's not going to be satisfying if it goes 12, especially if Floyd looks like he could finish him at any time.
I would still love to see him fake a kick and mayweather dive out of the way, would be a great highlight. Rooting for a mcgregor miracle. Would also love if he lost via decision because he would talk like he won. Realistic hope is that hes not too hurt to fight in the ufc soon
This is so stupid that I feel like it has to be rigged somehow, even if it's just a tacit agreement that Mayweather will carry him 12 rounds but not **** him up too badly. The KO odds make no sense, it's a boxer versus a guy who's never boxed before, he'll be able to hit him as often as he wants to
