Austin Appleby to Florida as a grad transfer. Gg Treon.
01-07-2016 , 01:50 PM
WR Cavin Ridley to UGA
01-07-2016 , 01:55 PM
Yeah, for a visit today

No decision yet
01-07-2016 , 02:18 PM
Jim Jebow to alabama
01-07-2016 , 02:43 PM
He's expected to enroll next week.

Let's give it 95% chance.
01-07-2016 , 02:52 PM
It's Jewbo

That's a lot to give based on a rumor

247 has 33%, which was 0% a few days ago, so he's trending up, but 95% is ridiculous at this point
01-07-2016 , 04:42 PM
247 has Alabama at 56%, with the last Alabama prediction being 12/11/15.

This was before he committed to, then decommitted from, South Carolina.

UGA has all 9 predictions since the USC decommit a few days ago.
01-07-2016 , 04:58 PM
We'll see what happens; UGA has a great shot it seems, but thinking it's 95% could be why you posted earlier "this is why I sorta hate following rumors." If you put too much stock (e.g., 95%) into them, then you'll get burned
01-07-2016 , 05:22 PM
I agree.

A side note, is a WTF at the 247 CrystalBall calculation. Like, it's just aggregated and not somehow weighted??

That's incredibly misleading. We have all of this new info that UGA is the favorite, yet because of those predictions a month ago for Alabama, the formula spits out that Alabama is a favorite. I get that these "insiders" or whatever you want to call them have busy lives and can't just be changing their predictions at the drop of a hat, but Ridley's prediction didn't change at all AFTER committing. LOL
01-07-2016 , 05:30 PM
Yeah, it just polls writers (and even Reddit r/cfb) each day or week or whatever and spits that out
01-07-2016 , 11:57 PM
Ridley staying in Athens and going to classes next week. 10 points for Gryffindor/angerpush

👍

Why would you go to Georgia instead of Alabama? Less competition for time?
01-08-2016 , 10:40 PM
Lol

Yeah this is the first person to ever choose UGA over Bama
01-08-2016 , 11:05 PM
That doesn't answer my question.

(As someone who grew up in Oklahoma, I completely understand why someone would not go there!)
01-08-2016 , 11:23 PM
Lots of reasons

In this case, perhaps to play with Jacob season; perhaps to be first option instead of second behind his brother (or allow both to be first options instead of one being second option) to maximize both's nfl stock; could be a variety of reasons

Me, specifically? The HOPE scholarship.

Cavin aka Riley? I don't know. Didn't ask. He might like the school, town or coaching staff more.

Labor Day weekend 2016 might be the best regular season weekend ever for CFB.

Notre Dame at Texas
UCLA at A&M
LSU at Wisconsin (Lambeau Field)
Alabama & USC in Dallas
Oklahoma at Houston (Texans Stadium)
Georgia & North Carolina in Atlanta
Missouri at West Virginia
Clemson at Auburn
Ole Miss & Florida State in Orlando on Monday
Oregon State at Minnesota on Thursday
Rutgers at Washington
BYU & Arizona in Phoenix
Colorado & Colorado State in Denver
Georgia Tech and Boston College in Dublin with a 7:30am ET kickoff.
KSU at Stanford on Friday.

Opening weekend is the tits next year. CAN'T. WAIT.

And for whatever reason Cal plays Hawaii in Australia the weekend before opening weekend.
01-13-2016 , 12:30 PM
That is just such a GOAT weekend.

Can pretty much draw a line in that list after Ole Miss - FSU. Only reason you would turn on any games below that is if you are a grad of one of the schools. I guess maybe drink your coffee over GT - BC, but I'd just sleep in a couple more hours. The nine games above that line are great match ups tho.

Your telling me you don't want to watch The buffs and CSU battle it out for bragging rights over Colorado?!?!
01-13-2016 , 05:08 PM
Especially as dominant as Colorado has been since joining the Pac-10/12/14.
01-13-2016 , 06:27 PM
It's a great weekend. Except it's week 1 some teams will be rickety and there are too many NFL stadia on that list.

BREAKING: NCAA clears way for Big 12 to hold a football title game http://apne.ws/1RNqPTi @jimvertuno

Pretty big news. Any conference with 12 teams or fewer can have a title game if they want
