Good luck in your quest to become the new Mountain West/Conference USA/Big East, I guess. Seems that would start the dominoes falling for Texas and Oklahoma to start looking at moving to Pac 12 or SEC.

I would take Cincy and Houston. Houston seems like a given since they are in Texas. And West Virginia needs a team closer to them for a more natural rival. Must suck for West Virginia to have to travel so far for every away game. Cincy could fix that for one game at least.

Memphis sent ribs to the big 12 offices apparently so they are my dark horse candidate. No other team makes sense to me. Byu should stay independent. Uconn has had some relevance recently but that seems like it would be a weird fit. The big 12 would become the new AAC conference

The dollar general bowl is now a thing that exists. What a time to be alive.

I heard negotiations are underway for the MD 20/20 bowl and the government cheese bowl.

Nope, not me.

Also, looks like Jawja is going to add yet another Alabama transfer.

It's a map ldo.
08-18-2016 , 12:30 PM
Yeah but why are some lines pointing straight up and down, some left to right, etc
08-18-2016 , 12:40 PM
It was a joke. I have no idea wtf that's supposed to be.
08-18-2016 , 01:29 PM
BCS Schools in the United States?

Colors match the schools..not sure what the direction of the lines mean, if anything..
08-18-2016 , 03:35 PM
I totally get the map but you have to have an IQ over 180 to understand it.
08-18-2016 , 04:30 PM
its the direction that the wind is blowing at each BCS school currently.
08-18-2016 , 05:39 PM
Hah. It's the orientation of the fields

(Power 5 teams)
08-18-2016 , 06:09 PM
ideal stadium orientation is north/south so neither team has to look into a setting sun at any time during the game if they were playing football in a wide open space with nothing surrounding them. stadium latitude (the sun is higher in the sky for southern stadiums compared to northern stadiums), time of year in relation to the elevation of the sun (most football is played after the autumnal equinox and the sun gets progressively lower in the sky), time of typical kickoff (most are around noon), and height of stadium seating surrounding the field are all factors.

tldr: solar geometry, bros.

Five Notre Dame players arrested for weed and a gun. And CB Devin Butler faces charges for battery and resisting arrest in a separate incident last night. So six players total arrested. It'll be interesting to see what Kelly does with these players two weeks before the season. All six are apparently contributors on the field.

Pretty sure an unlicensed firearm is like a Class Z- misdemeanor in Indiana. Weed is probably a 20 year mandatory sentence though.
