I've never seen a team as poor at clearing their lines as Ole's United. It's been a constant issue for his entire time here.

I still think he's gone by december. A yolo 2nd half comeback against a poor defensive team that lost their best defender at HT doesn't change the fact that once again we looked like a pub team in the first half. We even had a similar comeback vs newcastle a month before Mou was finally sacked and the players had definitely downed tools on him at that point.

I fully expect a similarly abject showing v plop, minus the comeback, and I don't see us getting many points from city/spurs/chelsea + villareal away. Maybe 4 pts from the league games + a CL draw buys him some time? I just don't see the point in putting off the inevitable when there's still a chance to salvage something decent from this season.

I really rooted for United to record a historic comeback yesterday. The longer they draw this out the better. Think if you bring in someone now they can do wonders with this squad as they are much stronger than the result would suggest.

My hopes are that Ole will stumble through this season or at least half of it, not buying anyone in January as the board already thinks about who to replace him with and not trust him with more money, then bring in someone else too late to challenge for anything in the latter stages of the season.
