Let's start with Group E - unsurprisingly no-one predicted Salzburg to win 6-2 but let's start with the one person who were completely wrong:



Everyone else correctly predicted that Salzburg would win but would anyone predict they would win by 4 goals?



Onto the Napoli v Liverpool match where Napoli rather surprisingly perhaps beat the reigning champions 2-0 at home. No one correctly predicted a 2-0 home victory but all but 2 of you got it incorrect:

vruuuuk used his insurance on his 0-0 prediction so gets 0 points
Both LFC_USA and rickroll predicted a 1-1 draw so they receive -10 points
kingweed also went with a draw, 2-2 for -10 points
MindFckr (1-3), eleanor60 (1-3), lukethefluke (0-2), eyebooger (0-2) and Bob Dobelina (1-2) all predicted a Liverpool win for -10 points

The 2 correct answers stayed in the family:

Both me and my dad predicted a 2-1 Napoli victory with myself using up my insurance unnecessarily. Both of us get 10 points

Onto Group F, not suprisingly everyone predicted an Inter Milan victory so we were all incorrect however a few of us used our bankers so recieve -20 points

Myself, lukethefluke (2-0), Ecky (2-0) and eyebooger (3-0)

The rest receive -10 points - LFC_USA, kingweed, rickroll and eleanor60 all said 2-0 as well, Bob Dobelina said 2-1, MindFckr said 3-0 and vruuuuk said 3-1

Dortmund missing a penalty helped a few people but unluckily for eleanor60 (2-1) that means he receives -10 points[/B]

rickroll also predicted a 3-2 Dortmund victory but as he used his insurance he receives 0 points

Myself (2-3), Ecky (1-3), LFC_USA (1-3) and vruuuuk (2-4) all incorrectly predicted a Barcelona win for -10 points

Quite a few correct answers but no-one predicted a boring 0-0 draw -

Bob Dobelina and eyebooger predicted a 1-1 draw while MindFckr, lukethefluke and kingweed predicted a 2-2 draw with MindFckr using his insurance. They all receive 20 points

Onto Group G and with Lyon only managing a 1-1 draw, a lot of us were incorrect:

kingweed (1-0), Bob Dobelina (2-1), LFC_USA (2-1), Myself (3-1), eleanor60 (3-1), MindFckr (3-0) and vruuuuk (3-0) all receive -10 points

No one predicted a Zenit victory so the rest are correct:

eyebooger said 0-0, Ecky went with 2-2 and I said 3-3 for 20 points apiece. However we have our first spot on prediction with lukethefluke meeting in the middle and saying 1-1 for 30 points!

There was just the 1 correct answer for the Benfica-Leipzig game..

rickroll (0-0), eleanor60 (1-1) and eyebooger (1-1) all went with the draw while MindFckr, Bob Dobelina, Ecky and LFC_USA all said 2-1 for -10 points

Unluckily for vruuuuk who used his banker on a 2-0 Benfica win means he gets -20 points

The one correct answer was again lukethefluke and unbelievably he correctly predicted the 1-2 scoreline for his 2nd spot on prediction and another 30 points!

Onto the last 2 games, Ajax winning comfortably against Lille but still a few incorrects:

lukethefluke went with a 1-1 draw but used his insurance so gets 0 points

MindFckr, Ecky and LFC_USA all said 1-1 as well and vruuuuk said 2-2 for -10 points

eyebooger went with a 1-0 Ajax victory while I said 2-1 and rickroll and kingweed both said 2-0 for 10 points apiece.

Bob Dobelina also said 2-0 but used his banker so receives 20 points.

And another perfect prediction with eleanor60 correctly guessing 3-0 for the full 30 points!

Just the one correct answer in Chelsea's shock 1-0 loss at home to Valencia:

kingweed (1-1), vruuuuk (2-2) and Ecky (3-3) went with the draw for -10 points

Bob Dobelina and eyebooger both said 2-1, MindFckr and Myself both said 3-2 while rickroll, lukethefluke and LFC_USA went for a 3-1 Chelsea victory. They all receive -10 points

The one correct answer went to eleanor60 who predicted a 2-1 Valencia victory for 15 points
