Yeah it made a big difference. The guy is the footballing Lebron. Same age and if anything physically as good as ever somehow. There are a lot.of similarities between them actually.

He has definitely lost acceleration, but he's 32 it's ldo. At full speed he is still rapid.

I meant this was their strongest team of the past 6 years and I'm not sure if they can make it better going forward.

Hats off to Zidane though. He did things his way and everyone got in line. It was a poor joke for the hypersensitive US ears I guess. I certainly didn't mean to laugh at him on account of being gay. That's fine with me. It's just him flying every afternoon on his private jet to Morrocco is a bit of a joke in Madrid. Both Lebron and Ronaldo are considered fake, plastic types. Ronaldo is a winner, though, and I think he's quite different than Lebron. Ronaldo has his public face and his private life, and it's clear there's a pretty big difference between them, and he doesn't really pretend otherwise, although he's all the time constructing his public image. More power to him if he really is gay (as pretty much every Madridista I know believes - and, on the positive side, no one much cares), but if he is it's sad there still isn't a climate where he can come out of the closet (just the other day Griezmann was going on in the media about how it was still hard for football players to come out publicly). In fact, media reports indicate that the club told him to stop his trips to Morrocco, which suggests that if there is a problem, it's with Florentino, but we knew that already.

I was responding to a post that compared Lebron and Ronaldo. I don't think it's a good comparison. Ronaldo is a clinical, dominant striker who has lead his teams to championships in several contexts. I'd pick him first for any team. I'd rather have Durant or Curry over Lebron.
