This is without one of our best creative players + we are through after 4 games. Feels pretty good whether we should be happy or not
After watching (most of) both games, I don’t think I’d be in a rush to call Sevilla “bad,” burro. I’m actually encouraged…in years past, basically anyone being out of our starting XI (especially Partey) and we’d kind of implode.

Someone on the James Richardson podcast this week mentioned that Roony was named after Wayne because his dad was a United fan, which would have been the cherry on top, but unfortunately some googling can’t confirm that.

Newcastle fans should feel lucky to even get a point from that pathetic performance. I Enjoy all the room temp IQ mouth breathers crying about var after they were gifted a win vs arsenal by terrible Reffing. Life comes at you fast. Also UCL had been consistent with what they call a handball (which is like everything, and I while might disagree with that interpretation, they have been consistent with it).

They should be able to beat Milan at sjp and I think Dortmund gets a result at home vs PSG so Newcastle will likely be through anyway.

Must be brutal for PSG. When the likes of Dembélé, Ruiz, Barcola, and Asensio are finishing your chances, you need like 5 xg just to generate a goal.

In fact, they were closing in on 4 xg with nothing to show for it until the penalty.

Haha I'm still bitter about that Arsenal loss. Should be 2 points clear right now.

I only watched like 40 mins in and out. Instead watched the Milan keeper make a mockery of goalkeeping. Anyways Ruiz/Asensio looked like they would not hit a barn door. Barcola seems super-talented but really really raw.

No clue why they loaned out Xavi Simons. He could slide into this team with ease.

In no world except the one where barca pays the head of referees and his son six million euros a year is that considered a handball. Bad enough that it was minute 97.

It is funny however to see the British press fuming that for once the shenanigans went against them.

Worth noting that the VAR officials have now been stood down from this evening..

I've seen fans milking awful calls for a long time but I've never seen fans milk what was no obvious error like Arsenal fans do vs Newcastle in a game where they sucked and deserved nothing more than a 0-0 in a league they're never going to win anyway

jesus christ

I'm glad you are not taking it to heart

Also do not go to the English footy thread now. You are not going to like it... its a non-foul resulting in a injury meltdown for the 4th day now

...and ofc we are not winning it with all this referee conspiracy.

That Galatasaray pitch is a disgrace, if something like S****horpe and Curzon Ashton tried to play on it the game wouldn't even start, but CL money so whatever
