Maxwell still out of favor with Guardiola with Adriano starting over him (or maybe he's still too injured). I thought Pedro was better, but apparently he isn't 100% and will probably come off the bunch as a sub for Keita at some point and Iniesta will fall back into the midfield.

Is Puyol ever going to be better? Also anyone know the Abidal timeline on coming back?

8/11 starters isn't bad I suppose, but 2 of them are playing out of position. Wonder if Thiago comes in for Xavi as a sub depending on how the game is going. Possible Afellay/Bojan come in for Villa at some point too.

From what I gather Puyol might be heading down the Ledley King route. Knee is swelling up everytime he trains. Surgery most likely in the summer and who knows if that will work.

We need to fix our CB situation then. Either get a CB or LB and let Abidal take the other position. Busquets playing CB is not a great stopgap although I'm sure Mascherano loves it.
