Well, this much I know to be true:

LBJ >>> Joe Johnson
Cavs bench >>>> Hawks bench

Celts still win.

The Hawks are athletic enough to get a bunch of big bodies on Ray Allen and Paul Pierce. They have a lot of good offensive/defensive rebounding from the wings. They can take the ball to the rack and draw fouls, and they have enough athletic players that Allen (our weak link) ends up in a bad situation almost no matter what. None of this is true for the Cavs outside of Lebron. I think this is a much better match up for Boston, all things considered. Of course, Lebron could go off on any given night.

To see what will happen against the LBJ's, plz see the 2007 NBA finals.

LBJ needs to average 50/20/10 for cavs to have a chance.

Celtics stay in form on the road and crush, Lebron gets 1game

My DVR recorded over that with the 2008 First round classic Celtics vs. Hawks.

A question after watching the small special on Lebron James, during halftime, I have a question. Do you guys think that Lebron's wife lets him **** on the side, implicitly? I am conflicted.

1. Lebron acts pretty often like a kid, because for so long he's been ordained and coddled for his adult life so he really doesn't have any worries and has mostly a carefree lifestyle. From his little dancing on the bench to his chalk routines. So he may really believe, in a kid-like way, in staying faithful to his high school sweetheart because he's not ever thought anything different.

2. On the other hand, he definitely is aware about how big his stature is in the league and just the sheer number of temptations he's presented must be overwhelming. And there's no doubt his wife would accept that bargain for her plush digs IMO. He's got everything he's ever wanted, why not other women?

Thoughts.

Come on, you know the answer to this question, but you're very cute for asking.

Actually I don't. There are some family guys out there who you wouldn't expect to be.

I think most of the C's problems with Atlanta were mental. I don't see them playing as bad in Cleveland as they did in Atlanta. Plus, the C's have matchup problems with the Hawks b/c of their athleticism that they won't have with Cleveland.

IOW, the whole:

-C's had tons of trouble with Atlanta
-Cleveland >>>>>>>>>>>>>> Atlanta
-therefore Cleveland beats C's

thinking is way off base imo. It's mostly Cavs fans who think that I imagine anyway. But I've heard it quite a bit. I see the Cavs getting a couple of games, so I voted C's in 6. But C's in 7 wouldn't surprise me, either. I guess Cavs in 6 wouldn't be all too shocking, but I just don't see them winning the series. C's just too tough.

Here's my prediction.

Cavs come in and steal Game 1, Doc gets brutally out-coached and Lebron is able to create a lot of 3-point opportunities for his teammates.

Celts hold serve in Game 2 and Cleveland returns in the favor in Game 3.

Celts even it up in Game 4 with Pierce abusing the Cavs in the 2nd half, blow em out in Game 5 and carry the momentum into Game 6 to silence their critics by closing out a good team on the road.

Then hopefully Doc gets hit by a bus, Orlando upsets Detroit and we coast to the Finals.

Do Celts play a bit smaller with KG at Center, and Posey and Pierce at the forward spots? Better defense for Lebron, and it's not like B. Wallace is any offensive threat.

This makes too much sense, or am I missing something, other than the fact that Lebron>>Posey to the extent that Posey could foul out in 5 minutes.

And get destroyed on the boards with a Varejao / Ilgauskas / LeBron front line?

Celtics win, Celtics win.

Mini Celtics v. Hawks Game 7 TR

Had to go to post-graduation brunch with parents and girlfriends parents, went to Masa and had awesome brunch. Look it up. Banana-stuffed Texas Toast, BBQ Mac and Cheese w/ Chorizo, Stuffed Mexican Omelets. Mmm... Went to game and started off in Section 310, Row 10. Stayed their for a quarter, spied our upgrade seats.

Noah's Quick Guide to Seat Upgrades:

1. Don't bother looking for good seats in beginning of game, even game 7. People get there late.

2. Don't bother looking during timeouts or within 5 minutes of quarter ending.

3. Find a section where the ticket usher is a woman (less likely to stop you), old (less likely to see you), or young/minority (will be watching the game).

4. Move with confidence, swiftness, and have your hands full.

So we spot the perfect storm of seats. Open from tip to near end of 1st quarter, right on the aisle, being guarded by a woman who looked like a Golden Girl.

Welcome to Section 21, Row 6:

Some highlights:

-Rondo getting creamed. Close to a riot. Think I lost my voice and got a hernia. Long after everyone else had calmed down and Williams had left the court, my brother was still screaming "Send Scalabrine in to Break Johnson's nose!!!!!" and Scalabrine heard, turn around and stood up and did the superman "pull the suit off move", laughed, and sat back down. Classic.

-People chanting "USA!" when Zaza was shooting free throws.

-Guy next to me: My wife doesn't like UFO and I have to drive home, you wan this beer. Score the free $7 beer.

-Big Baby dunk and flex.

-Watching Garnett watch Gino.

Going to have to watch the next few games from Ireland, but can't wait to be back for more.
