I think he was just doing it for effect. ZOMG THIS GUY THINKS LBJ IS ONLY 2% TO WIN!!!! I think he got the desired effect.

laser, do you know whether they use the same log5 model james created for baseball, or whether they adapted it for basketball?

It's adapted for basketball. It's all in the Pythagorean win calculation. In the NBA, you use a different exponent to calculate pythagorean wins so that points scored/allowed correlates with the historical win %'s. Likewise for College B-Ball or WNBA or whatever.

It's the same log5 model, but a much different exponent to find the pythagorean record.

Dallas? Los Angeles? San Antonio? Those homers are far worse.

Yeah....
LeBron is incredible and i'd take him over any player in the NBA except MAYBE Chris Paul, but no way he's more valuable then the Big 3 combined. Pierce and Allen for sure, but Garnett is nearly as valuable anyway. Basically LBJ cancels out KG and Ray.

Mind boggling.
generally made offense/defense switches with cassell. TODAY i liked his late game substitutions, but in general it's a weakness of his

+1 for amazing defenses, Cleveland gets props because of LBJ, but they also happen to defend very well. And Boston is just on an entirely different planet.

Proud humanitarian or raging anti-semite?

"His favorite movie is Schindler's List."
How does this make him an anti-Semite? Are you dumb or joking?

I'm going to level protect myself here, as well.

I didn't think it sounded dumb.. just crediting his mom as the reason he's so intense about everything, cuz his mom was full of energy even when she was working 3rd shifts putting bread on the table.
