forgot to plug my phone in before i passed out last night, so i was at the game today with like 4% battery left that i was conserving in case of an emergency or something getting home

but when brad lidge came in (last 2 times ive bumped the thread have been just as he enters the game), i burned the last 4% of my battery to start my phone, log onto 2+2, find the brad lidge thread and bump it.

like 2 seconds after the post finishes processing and goes through my phone dies. at that moment i knew the yankees were a lock to win.

my parents were in town to see the game so i was sitting with them, but i traveled there and was going back with yeota + another friend who is a nats fan. i met them outside the stadium after the game and after talking for a few minutes, commented on how i should be credited with a W for bumping the lidge thread.

yeota immediately starts laughing and my friend who is the nats fan goes "i ****ing KNEW it"

yeota: "bahahaha during the game he goes 'here comes brad lidge, he's going to blow the game and the first ****ing thing [karak] will say to me when he sees me is that he bumped that stupid ****ing brad lidge thread and it's going to tilt me"
