Yeah, I can see how it's amazing to a Philly fan that they won, but at the same time "fringe playoff teams" win the WS quite often, especialy when they have the most dominant SP and closer in the post season.

edit: and I'd put the "quite often" as something like 1 out of 6 seasons.

Hey, it's me again.

I definitely look like an idiot in this thread.

But I'm glad I look like an idiot. I was/am a huge Lidge fan and I was terribly upset when he went into the tank. Most relief pitchers with huge confidence issues never get it back. I'm really glad he did, even if he did it with a different team.

This is yet another example of how much I suck at making sports predictions.
