Re: Bobby Petrino on paid leave following crash details

Even in the SEC, it seems hard to believe that a coach could actually keep his job after giving his mistress a job/banging a subordinate. Hard to belive that the University could just shrug and say, "Lawsuits be damned, 21-5 and a Cotton Bowl win the past two years."

The A.D. is a spineless douche if he lets Petrino lie right to his face about an incident that embarrasses the University and keep his job.

This is amazing and I missed it earlier. Nice subtle message wearing a Sugar Bowl hat to your presser when you knew this was going to blow up.

Hope this gets worse for the lulz. Couldn't happen to a more deserving ******* (sorry razorbacker).

Meh, ADs job isn't to make sure he wins the battle of the egos, it's to do what's best for the school. No one really cares that their coach is banging some chick outside of having a little fun with it, they will care if he hires a terrible coach and they go 4-8 next year.

I respect that they are basically openly saying 'he's a scumbag but we already knew that, and after all he wins games.' SECEEE

LOLz. I could agree with that sentiment if Petrino did not hire his mistress/bang a subordinate. Where do you work that ******* a subordinate is acceptable policy? That just seems like a lawsuit begging to happen by any employee not ******* the coach.

I'm not saying they have to keep him, but saying the AD is a spineless douche makes it seem like the real reason to fire him is to keep the AD's ego intact instead of doing what is best for the school.

I don't understand the panic about getting the girl out of there. You're riding around with a younger woman on the back of your motorcycle, you're practically announcing to anyone who sees you that you're ****ing her, friends don't ride around on motorcycles together. If you're worried about discretion, drive a car in the first place.

This was my thinking. Especially, because I don't think he was wearing a helmet and is probably the most recognizable man in the state. From what I understand though, it was out in the country somewhere so I guess he didn't think the risk was that high.

The A.D. is exactly that if he lets Petrino skate on this. Petrino clearly did not care about "what is best for the school" when he lied to the A.D. and had him repeat the lie until just before the police report was inevitably made public.

The whole lying to the media and the A.D. just seems monumentally stupid. Once there is a police report of the incident, the chances of a successful cover up drop to about zero.

Re: Bobby Petrino on paid leave following crash details

Someone made a really good point on one of the Razorback boards about the wreck. She has no injuries, yet he is beat to piss. The theory is that she was driving and did something to throw him off. It seems like there is something else that we aren't hearing about in regards to the wreck. I expected this to blow over, but it just gets worse with every passing hour. At this point I expect him to be fired or resign very soon.

Re: Bobby Petrino on paid leave following crash details

Well, she's a 25 year-old volleyball star and he's a 51 year-old man without a helmet. Maybe she was wearing his helmet. Maybe when the bike tipped over she fell on top of him.

Although, the quick mental picture of her throwing him off while popping a wheelie is quite amusing.

Oh, you misspelled "better".

This can only lead to more interesting developments if she was driving...

Yeah does she have any scratches or bruises at all? Her not having any injuries whatsoever is suspicious.

Re: Bobby Petrino on paid leave following crash details

Her lack of injuries is interesting. I think her wearing his helmet is extremely likely since he had extensive injuries to his face and upper body. I don't really see how him coming off the bike backwards (her driving, him thrown off the back) would result in injuries to his face. But then again, I don't really see how his face was injured in the wreck, if he put the bike down on it's side.

I'm guessing she bailed off the bike early. Or maybe she actually is hurt. I mean people say she doesn't have any injuries, but it's not exactly like she has released a statement or has been seen in public.

Yeh, how exactly is the babe not injured at all and Petrino is ****ed up so badly? It's a motorcyle accident. She at least has some road rash.
