I'm +1 to backing the rumor that Petrino *didn't* crash his bike but instead got beat up by the whore's fiance.

I never said they wouldn't do anything. Obviously more facts came out and made it even more of a slam dunk. We'll see how the fan base reacts, but so far good job for Arkansas.

Most of the Arkansas fan base is pissed based on a few facebook news feeds I've seen, but Petrino backed the AD into a corner by having her on staff.

UofA and ASU are two completely different school systems. ASU is extremly jealous that 95% of the state identifies as a Razorback. Add on that UofA refuses tio play ASU in any sport and it just intensifies the one way hate.

In 03 or 04 the UofA and ASU women matched up in the women's NIT. ASU women were ranked higher so the game was at ASU. It was the rowdiest crowd I've ever seen at a basketball game, mens or womens (think cameron indoor with more ppl). The girls on the Razorback team couldnt believe they were getting booed in their own state. We set a women's NIT attendance record by selling out the convo center. On top of that we won and the crowd stormed the court for a second round womens NIT game. Does that tell you how much ASU hates UofA?


I'm torn on which way I want the school to go. I don't want to go to C-USA based on their recent trajectory, but I don't see what other conference we have a realistic chance of getting an invite to that makes sense.

We will continue to be a coaching stepping stone until we have a reputation as a top tier job, which will be almost never. Therefore, I'd like to see us just continue to dominate the Sun Belt. This would strengthen a fickle fan base, put us solidly on the recruiting map and, given 5-6 years of conference championships, we may be able to jump over a few tiers on the conference ladder when those discussions stay up again.

Success is new to the ASU football team, lets just build a solid base before making all kinds of changes.

Whatever the case, I will bet Jessica wasn't on bike. A violent crash like that would have necessitated her seeing a medical professional for observation. Internal bleeding, shock, brain injury. Or at least filed by the state trooper/paramedics that passenger refused treatment.
