so I shouldnt be calling my girlfriend on my work provided phone, but instead buy another cell phone for personal use? I have considered this, but man I dont want to have to carry an extra phone and pay a bill.

Yes I do. That was an odd thing for a coach to say about another coach. But I believe that to be true. You rarely heard about Carroll and his wife. Or pretty much any coach and their wife. Their lives and football become so intertwined that they drift from their wives pretty quick. And, at the college level particularly, too many co-eds.
