Bobby Petrino had a 25 year-old female athletic department employee on board his motorcycle when it crashed earlier this week. He has been placed on paid leave by Jeff Long while the story comes out.

Petrino suspended, admits 'inappropriate relationship'

7.5 by OOT standards:

Dammit Bobby, just when we were getting something going too. ****.

There's some good stuff in the offseason thread, the trolls posting on her wedding guest book were doing A++ work

Are you serious? I don't know if they will fire him, but they certainly can if they want to

You saw he gave her a job right? That's where the fireable part comes into play.

“He’s a gutless bastard. Quote that. I
don’t give a s—,” Zimmer said Wednesday, according to Joe Reedy of the Cincinnati Enquirer.

When Zimmer was told that responsible news organization may not be able to use “bastard,” Zimmer responded:

“How about this, gutless MF. You can use that.” (Awesome. Much appreciated.)

More from Zimmer, via Reedy: “[Petrino] is a coward. Put that in quotes. He ruined a bunch of people’s
lives, a bunch of people’s families, kids, because he didn’t have enough
nuts to stay there and finish the job. That’s the truth.”

Also lying to his bosses and the press about the accident and relationship until the police report came out, lol.

I honestly have no horse in this race and couldn't possibly care less about Arkansas football or Petrino

BUT

I do find his "I've been doped to the gills" excuse someone reasonable. Also, didn't lie to police. Also, lied about a personal matter.

if he hadn't hired her I think he'd probably be fine, that could get a little sticky

good chance there's a morality clause in his contract. remember his job is to shape and mold young men for the future and winning football games is just like a nice side effect or something

A couple comments from the wedding book that were awesome.

My early favorite was "I'm sure Petrino pulled out many times before he got the job done - Arthur Blank"

but that just got crushed into submission by:

fduksl jkldfsas kljfsfdodasin dkfasdfljdfdddfhh djfkdfljs!!
from: Morris Claiborne

Which was a literal LOL, followed by me immediately feeling bad.

Are you sure you don't have a horse in this race? 'Cause it seems like you do. Literally every article I've seen about this mentions the personal conduct clause in his contract.

And what makes you think he didn't lie to the police? That he's not being charged for it, or anything else...in Fayatteville?
