Would have to imagine that Howson has got to be loving today's developments. Probably can milk a little more out of disappointed DET/PIT if he wants to deal Nash to either. As a Wings fan, I have my doubts of Howson letting him go in division, but we'll see.

Still kinda reeling that we couldn't get Suter. Seemed like a slam dunk for weeks now.

Wade through the sour grapes, and you see the results of a media driven sense of entitlement- "how dare every single marquee free agent winger not sign for below market value to play with SID?!?" Keep listening to people like burnside, lebrun, and damien cox then I guess you start buying the hype that you're the only franchise worth talking about/signing with in the NHL

Penguins should sign my boy Andrei Kostitsyn.

His down year + reputation as a lazy russian would make him cheap and on a short deal, but he has legit hands/shot/speed/size and would easily score 30 goals playing next to The Croz.

Mostly dumb turnovers and inconsistency in his offensive production, but that can be explained in part by getting mostly defensive assignments playing with Plekanec/Eller.

I am so glad that with their offseason acquisitions, the WCSF this year will bounce back from the atrocity that was LA-Nashville-St Louis-Phoenix and be something more like Calgary-Edmonton-Minnesota-Winnipeg this year.

In 3 years the jets wild rivalry will be the best in the NHL. I went to the game at the X this year and it was insane. Like 2000 crazy fans from wpg, despite the fact that both teams were terrible.
