Another day for Parise.

C'mon Zach - the Twins are terrible, the Vikings have nothing to look forward to and the Timberwolves are the Timberwolves. Throw us a bone here - last two nights the Lynx have been the lead story in the news. The ****ing Lynx.

Burke just said on radio he's confident he will have a 1G and/or 1C in place by the start of the season - that a lot of team's that committed to cap space the past week are now calling those who stood on the sideline.

Inb4 '...so Bozak's not a 1C? LOL'

Oh good just what the rangers need another forechecker with speed and zero puck skills

Have an odd feeling they're gonna sign Semin to a 1/7.5 contract after he strikes out across the league, not sure how I'd feel about it.

I agree? Not sure why you're saying any of this. Pretty sure you'd be saying the same had your team won in May.

Their fans, the whole 'Hockeytown' thing, and the general runhot experienced by Detroit over the last 20 years. Now that Lidstrom's gone, it will be a little different.

Problem is, the Wild would quickly become the Twins - a miserable team led by a Minnesota-born player absorbing any and all criticism if he didn't immediately play like the best player in the league.

Instead of everybody dishing out 10+ yrs and $8m+ for Parise why don't they just sign Semin? Parise's a very good, but declining, player masquerading as a star. Not much better than Semin.

So I'm assuming the floodgates explode once Parise decides where to sign. like, suter signing within 90 seconds of the Parise announcement, then like a 100 signings and trades immediately thereafter

Re: NHL Offseason 2012 Thread

The Kings are by far the worst team to ever win the Stanley Cup. They went on a little run, so ****ing what? Every team goes on a run at some point in the season, they just timed there's well. All you ******s are always ripping on us Leafs fans because we celebrate when our team is really good for a month. WHY THE **** DON'T YOU GET ON THE KINGS FANS FOR CELEBRATING A GOOD RUN FOR A MONTH. My ****ing god, it's like each and every single one of you are ******ed as ****. The Kings were terrible in the regular season, I mean GOD AWFUL. The only reason they even ****ing made it was because their conference and division was so **** that they were just able to skate by and incredible amounts of luckpuck in their favor. Next time a team get's incredibly hot for a SINGLE ****ING MONTH I'm going to anoint them the champs and watch all you autists rage at me, and then I can remind you that you did the same just now. That's of course assuming that any of you even watch the regular season, which is a crazy assumption to make. **** you Kings fans, shut the **** up, as far as I'm concerned this playoff never even happened. Suck my dick you ******s

Re: NHL Offseason 2012 Thread

Sigh....

So we give up Hudler (really wish we could've traded him last year), sign Tootoo (I actually like this one) and we get Gustavsson(I like this too) annd we take back Sammy (WTF?!?).

So we've signed every position except what we really need which is a top line D
