yeah 12F/8D/2G under contract now

(not even counting guys like Baertschi, Nemisz, Howse, Reinhart, etc)

though i guess they could prob just ship guys like Bouma/Brodie to the minors to start

but feels like they might sell JBo, i mean aren't they way over their internal budget now?

What is the deal with the Roy for Ott and Pardy trade? Why did Buffalo want to get rid of him so badly?

Roy and Ruff hate each other or something

Buffalo should be fun to play next year with Ott AND Kaleta...

he's the local whipping boy. he's also charmin soft and the Sabres already have Ennis and Hodgson to fill the soft role. He also had 1 year left on his contract. that's why they were so willing to unload him.

lol wut - no. NHLSourcesSay is another Eklund/HockeyyInsiderr type. I love how Parise's slowroll made all those guys be like 'oh sh*t, gotta guess somewhere he's going and hope I guess right'. Then he ended up going nowhere, so all of them were wrong

Re: NHL Offseason 2012 Thread

but do the Eklund types really stick to their "predictions" in situations like with Parise, or do they just throw **** against the wall, and if it hits they get excited, but if it doesn't there's no mention made of it again?

It's "you're", not your or yore. Unless he's saying "your wrong" like "my bad."

I wish reporters had enough intelligence to want to learn the basics of their trade.

[Little indicators like that are useful to us consumers.]

The opportunity cost of learning the correct grammar just doesn't quite make it when one considers the % of the followship that doesn't know r from 're themselves.

Looking at Dallas, they’ve got a decent line-up, all of their guys under good contracts and lots of capspace to improve.

Very superstitious, Zach Parise has turned down Minnesota’s offer after getting a paper cut from the cash stuffed inside.
