Apparently the year he played for the Oilers, they moved him to LW. Not sure if it's the reason why he had the worst season of his career, but I'd leave him to the right of Desharnais for the time being.

I know it is a pipe dream, but I keep getting more optimistic about the Parise thing. In two years if Granlund, Coyle and Brodin pan out and Koivu, Heatley, etc. stick around, we could have something.

Of course when he signs with Pitt and Suter goes elsewhere I'll go back to rampant pessimism again.

I wonder how he will do on his own.

still to be seen if Hudler can be consistent over a larger sample.....still would have liked to Wangzzz to hold on to him after a nice year but wasn't gonna happen at that price

Hudler got the same deal as Parenteau, hmm. Fact is they're both guys who have really only had success with a very specific handful of players. I'm interested to see how they both do going forward.

Hudler deal is whatever. He's gonna play with Cervenka, they'll either crush their soft minutes or get exposed.

Reasonable 2nd PP unit option, yeah he's overpaid but whatever, he can finish unlike about 80% of that roster. I dunno.

I don't like it but it is what it is.

Can/does Hudler play RW well? With Tanguay, Glencross and Baertschi down the left wing, he needs to play along the right side imo.

Actually, I'm far more okay with this Hudler contract than I thought I'd be.

Just kinda wished it was Jagr instead on a one year deal but oh well.

Just curious since the deal was the same, would you rather have Hudler or Parenteau?
