Doesn't matter, they'll shoot 20% against the Devils for the next two years.
Spoiler:
Which will still beat the Devils shooting 10% on LoLeightongalov

Finally...I know four NHL players personally, and one is finally a leaf!

Jay McClement to the leafs!

If McClement regains his level of play from his time in St. Louis, he's going to be a great addition for Toronto. Really underrated bottom six pivot.

In case you guys are wondering (you probably aren't but i'm drunk so I'll tell you anyway).

The other NHLer's I know are John Erskine and Mike Smith.

John's a guy I used to get drunk with on boats on our local lake until he had kids and grew up and stuff (and cops started patrolling lake). He's under contract for another season, so no news about him today.

The fourth is a guy that is pretty popular these days. Mike Smith! I know him through fastball. We played in the same organization, but I'm older and he was much better (but I was good!). I also played men's league with his older brother who was a pretty shaky goalie even for mens league. Looks like Mike is under contract for one more season.

Yea...He's the only one I know well and is a good friend. Erskine's and old drinking buddy kinda, Smith is a guy I kinda know. McClement is a guy I know through Allen. A really great person, and legit asks me about what I'm up to etc every time he sees me, even though he's the one with the cool job/life...

Cheveldayoff said they offered C. Mason more money and a longer term and hinted they were very close on Glass. That makes me sad. I assume Mason was unhappy he wasn't offered more, sooner and Glass wants to contend.

Antropov was involved with Ponikarovsky signing.

Lesson 2 is to make sure you sign popular teammates.
[Lesson 1 is to sign bachelors who will fall for local girls.]

[Lesson 1 predicts Doan to Vancouver/Calgary/Edmonton?]

I played with Kevin Roy who was drafted by anaheim this year. Felt weird to see someone i know get drafted. Cool tho.

Back then he used to be something like 4’’2 and had these bursts of speed. Outplayed 5th graders (myself included) as a 2nd grader.

Pens reporting that the Wild are the front runners for Parise. Which basically means that the Pens are the front runners. I give us like a 5% shot.

I would gladly give him that contract to be my team's goaltending coach/backup goalie.

He had an NMC in year one, full NTC the 2nd year. But yeah, he does have Jay Grossman as an agent.

ej hradek saying he thinks NJ still has a very strong shot at resigning parise - this seems to contradict russo's report that it was down to pitt and minny
