I have nothing against him as a player but his contract is so ridiculous. Would he have said no to 2 years $5M? 4 years $6-8M?

Why did they need to give him both term and AAV? He's a 4th liner ffs.

Souray had a good year in Dallas. His health is obviously a concern but the Ducks desperately needed defensive depth and that deal could really pay off for them.

Six years is a long time and is risky, but Garrison looks legit from what I can tell.
