wideman is one of those defensemen who is prone to the horrible, horrible giveaway, which is always going to make fans supermad. he's also prone to scoring goals which makes up for that.

re wideman: people seem to think he's a puck mover because of his point totals. he's not. he gets points from the pp and from having decent aim from the point. but don't expect him to get it out of the zone and up the ice quickly.
