I'm jealous. I saw 'this is 40' tonight instead. One hilarious scene involving room service, but lots of boring. I usually like the Apatow movies.

so has the great Zlatan Ibrahimovic goal been rustling jimmies down south as play of the year, or have sports outlets chickened out and put that Trout catch in Baltimore, or some random football or basketball play #1? most of the lists i've seen have had Zlatan at the top...

I'm totally biased against soccer, but I still don't understand how the goal gets this amount of love. It was ok. But I've seen way better stuff in curling.

I despise baseball and I've seen a million better baseball plays. Give it to that 12 year old Canadian kid with the catch from the little league World Series and I'm good with it.

Wasn't it in an exhibition game? Yeah, worthless then. And that other more famous goal by Ibrahimovic was far superior.

I liked the baseball catches way more.

And waking up at 4am to watch the WJCs is hardly a brag. It always cracks me up watching 40 yr old losers paint their faces and give themselves heart attacks while screaming at 19 year olds who committed the serious crime of owning Canada in hockey (see: Kuznetsov, Evgeny)

In all seriousness, I think the hype surrounding the world juniors is a joke, and I've always thought this way. I'm sure there are other posts backing this up.

I'm only awake today because I've been staying up until 8am the past week, and since it was Christmas my family woke me up at 9:30am yesterday, so I only had 90 min of sleep. I was sleeping periodically all Christmas day eventually passing out at about 11pm and waking around 5:30am.

It's a joke to me that full grown men who have working jobs are waking up 3 hours early to watch these hockey games, especially Canada vs Germany of all things. Lol.
